Question Zippy: If you were going to go buy jackstands where would you get them?

Also....I lived 11 months in africa...you would not believe the vehicular shenanigans I've seen. Once I was in a microbus, and we pulled over to drop off (or pick up forget which) and this other microbus goes by us, there was a guy on rollerblades hanging onto the back and "skitching" or being towed by the vehicle. What...the....hell.

Canadian tire has a decently priced set of stands & floorjack currently going for $50 , a couple of my father's friends bought this set and have no problems. If you want to get cheaper ones, you can always go to Princess Auto on Walkley, they are full of cheap tools. I have plenty of tools from there.

Ok thanks! I was leaning to Canadian Tire, I just wasn't sure if they were good quality or not. Don't really want to skimp out on jack stands. Many thanks for the advice.

For home purposes, those will do just fine. Stuff at Canadian Tire should last a while.
